The first online issue of Pharmazeutische Zeitung was published on the internet in October 1996. It has grown to become a comprehensive resource for German pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students and anyone interested or involved in pharmacy. The online archive of www.pharmazeutische-zeitung.de comprises information on more than 350 new drugs, over 500 individual pharmaceutical formulations as well as nearly 16,000 news articles. With more than 2,000 entries it has also compiled the largest collection of pharmacy links on the German internet.
