The party community virtualnights.com is one of the leading providers of nightlife information on the German internet. With more than 32 million page views, 1.4 million page visits per month, approximately 5,000 event features in the monthly event guide and media partnerships at numerous events, festivals and gigs both on a national and international level, this community is way ahead of any competitors. The portal’s market lead is ensured through up to 1,350 event attendances per month, a well positioned team of regional and city managers and through more than 500 national and Europe-wide photographers.
The portal offers its users, in addition to event reports, party pictures and a party video section, also editorial lifestyle content in the following categories: music, trends and cinema. Additional highlights include virtualnights TV and a videocast. Users of the community also have access to numerous Web 2.0 features such as networking tools and Blogs.
In 2007, virtualnights.com formed a partnership with Holtzbrinck Ventures. The portal has also entered several cooperation agreements with media partners, including StudiVZ, PRINZ, big FM and the Berliner Zeitung (Berlin newspaper).
